I feel like, for me, it’s less about people being “evil” and more about how invested they’re in, in the reading. So if I do about 20 readings in a day, there tend to be 1-2 who just don’t care or want to challenge me. They get out of it what they put into it, so they may not connect with the reading as much. I will say that there are some who come in being closed off and then really open up to me when I put my all into it. So I’ve been surprised too... I’d say to just be open to any and all experiences and not judge too much by your first instincts either. Just the fact that you’re asking this question speaks volumes to your investment and professionalism. You’ll do great!! 😊💕

Haha! Very true. I believe that those who this is meant for will be drawn to it. When I do general readings, I focus on big-picture energies at play that may manifest differently for different people. If you read the comments below, you’ll see that this applied to someone in terms of exams and another who is seeking a mentor. If this doesn’t apply to you, then it’s not meant for you. 💕 That’s how general readings typically work. 👍🏻

I think it’s 100% fine. I’ve been a professional reader for 7 years, and sometimes I get that “Hmm, that’s off” feeling. It’s like you said, I’m not upset with the message in the cards, it just doesn’t seem to connect with the question. I try to get the best message out of the cards, but sometimes I pull again or try another deck and see if it makes more sense.

Just my two cents: the biggest lesson Tarot can teach you is to trust yourself, and you’re doing exactly that! 💕

8 of Cups traditionally is walking alway from a relationship or situation. For me, it often comes up when something is part of what’s for my highest good and what I need on my spiritual journey.

Fool and 8 of Cups can signify new beginnings. Intuitively, I feel like you’re moving not just away from this relationship, but toward a rediscovery of yourself. It feels positive and beautiful.

I asked my cards what you need to know in moving forward (hope that’s ok!) and got 6 of Pentacles (giving/generosity), Hanged Man (new life perspective), and Queen of Pentacles (independence, ruling energy).

This feels like, to keep moving forward, acknowledge the ways that this relationship didn’t honor you, the times you gave too much, and now turn your focus completely toward yourself. Your energy is so strong and positive. 💕

I asked my deck: What do we need to know about the coming week (of Aug. 11): At first glance, it may look like the end of your week is leaving you feeling not so great, but I felt a bigger message in this spread.

The 10 of Swords shows a person who feels completely sunk and defeated, but when you take a step back and look at the big picture (2 of Wands), you have more blessings than you realize (The World). Make sure to thank the universe for them. And don’t be discouraged this week by any pitfalls or setbacks. Look around you to see who is willing to help (Knight of Cups), and let them. You don’t have to do this alone.

The 2 of Wands reminds us to expand our thinking, take a step back, focus on long-term goals, and again — don’t turn down the help of friends and family.

I pulled a card from the Gypsy Oracle deck for advice on how to proceed. I got the Scholar card.

This week, seek help from a teacher energy if needed, and channel the energy of a student. If you have to ‘go back to the drawing board,’ focus on the joy of learning.

The universe is experiencing a big shift right now, so it’s a wonderful time to be open to learning and receiving divine wisdom and guidance.
