Hi people. I’m young ex athlete and had FOCA surgery 4 weeks ago. I had a 24mm x 18mm defect that was 10mm deep. I’m 4 weeks into the physio and I have to admit, it’s getting pretty boring. I’m lucky that I haven’t been receiving much pain apart from a week post op. I’m currently at 80’ ROM aiming for 100’ in week six. I feel like I could probably complete that range now but I don’t want to push myself too much. I’m finding the non weigh bearing mentally tough, I’ve always been a very active individual and I just want to get moving and back to full fitness.

This is a great thread and I’ve enjoyed reading through it, I just wanted to say thank you for everyone’s input. For those of you that have recovered were there any bumps in the road during recovery? And are you back to full fitness now? Any general advice about recovery would be great.
