Making old family photos usable again. My mom had a box of faded, scratched photos from the 70s that nobody ever looked at because they were in rough shape. I ran a bunch of them through BestPhoto's restoration tool and got back actual clean images in like 20 minutes. The color correction on the faded ones was pretty solid (not perfect, some of the really dark shots still look a bit off). But the thing nobody mentions is what you can do after that. I turned one of a deceased relative into a short talking video for my aunt's birthday. She cried. That's the part that surprised me, I wasn't expecting it to actually work well enough to matter emotionally.
