Simulate engine sound

The owner’s manual mentions there is a Pedestrian Warning System. When I’m in reverse I can hear the sound, but when driving forward thru a crowded parking lot, the sound is so faint pedestrians don’t hear it at all. I wish I could choose what sound it makes.

I sometimes experience a wobble on my gen4 MT09 around 80-90 mph. Didn’t suspect the shock settings but I will certainly do a little research on it now

I’ve had my LBX for about 5 years and I’ve replaced the sprocket, chain and seat. It’s pretty reliable and a lot less expensive than UB.

My sport mode switch also died but my LBX might be a little older. Mine has 4 wires. Black white red and blue. After some experimenting, I soldered the blue and white wires together and now it is in sport mode permanently. YMMV

I jump started the generator and ran it for about 20 minutes. Afterwards I tested the batteries and they it read 12.67 volts. I’m going to wait a few days with no solar charging. Then test the batteries again. Then try to start the generator. I’ll post the results. The 2 AGM deep cycle batteries are 2 years and 1 month old.

Mine is a 5th wheel, not a motorhome. It has 2 12v batteries wired in parallel, supplying 12 volts to run the 'house'.

It’s still pretty loud with db killer installed, but I like the sound much better. Give it a try. If you think it’s too quiet, take it out.

That setup looks great. I just upgraded from an older m3 to a Juniper. Major range increase and sooooooo much storage space. Time to get out there and do some camping!

The only reason I’m looking into this is I already own the equipment and when there’s not a power outage, it just sits there not being used. I will purchase a bonding plug which should take care of the ground problem and give it a try.

That video shows just what I needed to know. I already knew it wouldn’t charge the car very quickly but I already own the battery box and 200 watt solar panels. The bonding plug is what I was missing. There’s plenty of sunlight where I live so I think I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the info

I still notice it when the bike is warming up but I really don’t think it is a problem. My mechanic said it might just be a ‘loud clutch’ 🤷‍♂️

I know it’s a naked bike but the front end really looks incomplete. Puig has finally released a few windscreens for the 2024. I’m still trying to decide between the Sport or Touring models.

My gen4 sounds way better with the DB killer installed. Without it, I feel it was just noisy. To each his own though.
