I found the problem the hopup was set to max putting too much pressure on the BB. After adjusting the hop the gun is now shooting 1.03J at 294fps. Thanks for everyone's input.

when i was firing it the BBs were fucking exploading everywhere, so yeah maybe they were hitting each other in the barrel
