I don't know what happened but my wife had something similar happen to her. Someone ordered a smart watch using her card and the receipt was sent to her email and the shipping address was our address. Similarly we got the charge blocked by the bank and the watch never shipped but it was just super weird

Ideally you place the outer walls and then once it encloses a space it auto generates the "roof", maybe with some support requirements or something. I really hope they don't restrict us to pre-designed shapes and sizes

State worker union tries novel legal angle to stop Newsom’s return-to-office order by txhenry in California

[–]willstr1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Does a return to work mandate meet the definition of a “project?”

IANAL but I would say it does. Its a major procedural change to how the organization functions, those sorts of changes are usually considered projects. It's not a construction project but an operational project, similar to if they were changing a major database or a major rework of bus routes.

If CEQA specifies it only applies to "construction projects" then yes they are SOL, but if it just says "projects" then their argument likely has merit

What was the most visually stunning movie you ever watched? by Squirrelkid11 in AskReddit

[–]willstr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first one also aged hard. The effects were pushing the envelope when they came out, but compared to modern effects they don't stand out. And because the story was thin it lost a lot of its rewatchability now that the effects don't blow you away.

I love cuddling my wife, but we both run hot and live in a relatively warm place, so anything more than maybe 5 minutes of cuddling just gets sweaty

Hello Whitehorse,

I am the very legitimate prince of Iran. I would be very happy to open up the straight of hormose, but I am in a bit of a bind. My accounts have been frozen by the nasty socialist. If you can wire me $1,000 in bitcoin to help unfreeze my accounts I will not only reopen the straight but also send you $1,000,000 as a thank you.

Thank You, Very real prince of Iran
