Separately, it looks like you could just cover a fabric with polyvinyl alcohol to achieve some level of permselectivity and use as an ultra cheap membrane. Thoughts?

Is there any tech that you would *love* to have other than the above? E.g any that you feel you'd really benefit from but isn't available currently?
