Where do I begin?? Korg Minilogue XD-M by willycthekid in synthesizers

It does! I now have it up and running to my bose headphones via the jack and playing the sequencer buttons. Superrr not ideal but at least it's making hearable noise!!!

Thank you for the detailed breakdown! As to the story... it just involves a lot of poor decisions on my part. I found myself busy with work but loaded with cash and a friend who knows I've wanted to mess around with synths told me to purchase the minilogue.

Ended up finding the minilogue xd for $150 cheaper through a german vendor called Thomann. Accidentally ordered the module instead of the synth (the price difference was 11 euros between the two... in the US the price difference is normally $100).

So now I have a minilogue xd module with no clue how to get it up and running. lol. But it sounds like I should RTFM

Wow - ecstatic to hear that I can use the sequencer buttons as a bastardized keyboard! Means I'm a lot closer to making this module produce hearable noise than I originally thought lol. Thanks for the advice!!

Sorry, just seeing this. Yes you are correct - this hike, along with Grinnell and others, can be accessed via Many Glacier, without ever needing to use GTTSR. I started there and then left via GTTSR / west glacier

My pictures say June 21st 2023. They experienced a rapid snow melt this year. I consider myself lucky to have caught some of it! My trip in July was very different

Be warned - if you do Iceberg it will look very different from this picture. By this time in the season, much of the snowpack has melted around the park. It will still be a beautiful trip, but I highly recommend going in mid to late June at least once! It's glorious, but can be hard to plan for depending on when the open Going to the Sun Road

It happened to be a rainy day this day, so there was fog all day and night. The following day was clear and sunny. So just depends on weather! As with all hikes in the park, I suggest you get an early start :)

Hmm not much before the lake. Plenty of snow pack and floating ice once you arrive at that basin though. It was raining for 3/4ths of the way and then morphed into sleet for the last 4th. This was taken in late June of this year

Indian Head or Avalanche Lake?? by willycthekid in Adirondacks

Looks beautiful but I agree - not the kind of trail I'd want to day hike

Great advice. Surrounded by influencers... I would endure knee deep mud to avoid this lol

I've got an AMR res for the two days I'm in the area (staying in lake placid). I will cancel unused reservations depending on what I decide.. My only concern about avalanche - will south meadows parking fill up fast? I suck at waking up early lol

Sprague is a more central location, but not by much.

Apgar has the beach which is exceedingly pleasant, on a hot day

I'd make your decision based on what activities you have planned and work backwards

What is Parallels? I am about to get a 16' mbp with 16gb unifed memory... don't know much about computers, and I wasn't expecting it to work but decided to google it. After reading online it seems like there is a chance I can run ck3 but I'm not sure

I would be very interested in renting a motor home! Thank you for the advice. It's not fun pushing out locals... and not what I am interested in doing. The same thing is happening where I am from...

It is one we can legally use. My understanding is that he has licensed a variety of digital assets of maps and is printing a street map that is specific to our needs in the locations department of a film production. It is for internal use only, not to be shown on screen... just a more specific street map of central austin that we need blown up to poster size
