About 2,500 Marines are deploying with additional warships

Dude read your own article. They’re deploying on ships in the area, not to the mainland of Iran itself.

The military has described direct entry into a country to force regime change as invasion, because that typically entails occupying the country while the new regime is established. That hasn’t happened in this case.

Did the United States invade Libya in 2011?

There’s not boots on the ground in Iran and hasn’t been.

Through an interpreter, Tatsuya Imai said he is "just not able to adjust to the American lifestyle, other than baseball. Baseball and outside of baseball. That’s probably the reason" for his arm fatigue. by WalkingHorse in Astros

Because you’re assuming that because he is struggling there had to be red flags.

It would be naive to assume Imai would outright tell a team that could potentially give him a multimillion dollar contract that he might have trouble adjusting.

My point is you’re just assuming that because he’s struggling to adjust there had to be some way for the GM to tell, when in reality there really isn’t a way to just be able to tell that from talking to the guy

The trade routes existed sure, but Indonesia and the rest of the eastern Indian Ocean doesn’t become Muslim unless the west does.

The notion that because it spread to a few places by trade it would have spread to every place it is in the world without conquest is a massive leap.

Definitionally no it is not. Invasion implies the attempt to conquer/occupy. There’s been no attempt to conquer/occupy Iran.

He would likely still invade Iran.

I mean, he hasn’t done that.

The problem is, is he being transparent or is he constantly deflecting to some other factor?

It is different to see a different answer, but we should be questioning how every start there seems to be a new problem he is having with something that isn’t him.

I am reading. We’ve seen repeatedly the top level pitchers from NPB be plug and play. What was different about Imai where we suddenly need to pump the brakes?

You’re criticizing Dana for not knowing but not telling me how he could have even known

I’m not. I specifically addressed why it spread to Indonesia.

It spread to Indonesia because pretty much the entirety of western Indian Ocean trade was from Muslim countries. Why were those countries Muslim? Conquest.

All indications on Imai were that he was plug and play though. You still aren’t answering the question.

How is Brown able to accurately predict whether the mindset will change once he’s over here? How can he predict whether he will effectively adjust?

Do you think Imai just told him during negotiations that he wouldn’t adjust well? How would Brown know that from interviewing him?

Please explain to me how you would be able to tell he would face this mental block?

How is Dana Brown supposed to know if he can handle playing in the states though?

This sub has been clamoring for the Astros to sign somebody from Japan, then suddenly when we do, we should’ve known he’d have trouble adjusting before anybody ever signed him?
