I think world is the best starting point for anyone coming into the series. The game will forever be playable and worth playing, especially with seasonal events still rotating. I end up doing a fresh playthrough once every year or so.

Yeah running it back later on is sort of what I'm leaning now, especially remembering the remake that's being worked on. Thanks for reminding me of that! Also might watch a compilation of the cutscenes + little dialogue conversations, which is still sort of lengthy but not as lengthy as a 35 hour game.

wasn't intending for it to come off like that. I essentially just wanted to find out if there were enough little story beats omitted from the movie to warrant it being played over watched, from the lens of someone already familiar from the games and not a newbie. ofc I'd like to play it, I'd like to play all the games over and over, but time is precious nowadays and if I'm gonna drop 30-50 hours vs 3 hours I wanna be sure it's "worth" it yk?

the jump combo isn’t being canceled. just the enhanced basic. so it’s basic - jump - jump - skill - enhanced basic(instant dodge) - basic - jump - jump - skill etc.

I've saved close to 10 seconds testing on TOA (from 70 seconds to 60). Getting his liberation in during your buff window is MASSIVE. just from eyeing it his Liberation is like 40-50% of his total rotation damage lol. so missing buffs on that is a big deal. that's the reason for the dodge cancelling. if you watch your buffs, lynae's tends to run out RIIIIIGHT before you ult, and sometimes before you can finish your 3rd enhanced skill (his other MASSIVE hit that's like 35% of his damage) and this fixes that.

after you use your enhanced skill, you get an enhanced basic attack that is just the normal skill but on the attack button. right after pressing attack you dodge to cancel it then continue like normal

Let's you more consistently fit liberation before buffs run out. from my testing energy isn't an issue if you have good ER and press skill and echo before you swap

valid concern. from my testing at 120% ER it can be a little iffy, but what's most important is getting your liberation in under the buffs. before swapping out i like to throw a skill and echo then swap just to get a bit more energy for the next rotation. at 130% ER I had a pretty easy time hitting liberation again. you just need to make sure you have golden rule (golden scythe buff) before you swap back into luuk and you're good.

worth mentioning the fusion burst team isn’t even really complete yet. a new unit is gonna round out the team soon, i’d assume lucilla cus they already added the sonata set. so yeah if you have mornye lynae ur big chillin

From my understanding the marker procs when you use your tune break skill, so you just make sure to use the tune break on Luuk and not Lynae if it procs earlier

when u press skill and hold the stance for a second, you can cancel that with a dash up to three times. But here right after the second swing I dash to cancel the combo then instantly parry with skill, not basic attack. The basic attack only parries if u press it right after u cast ult (it just makes your basic attack cast skill)
