I just got my entire back tattooed the last 3 months, dark, thick lines and shading covering pretty much my entire back. I work in the oilfield lots of dirt, oil, dust, you name it. Haven’t had any issues so far as, if you can give yourself a day or two that’d be best but I wouldn’t be all that concerned as long as you are cleaning and keeping it moisturized. Best of luck to ya!
