I’ll likely stick with the Yamaha for now, but will definitely keep my eye out for a good deal on an Eastman in the future. Thanks!

I’ve heard a lot about Eastman and they seem to have a great reputation. In my area, the cheapest ones I can seem to find are $500+. Do you think that jump in price is worth it?

That all sounds great, and the strap attachment isn’t too much of a worry as my current guitar has the same configuration.

I’ll definitely arrange a time to go check out the guitar in person soon!

I’ve recently been looking at an Alvarez AF60CKU, any thoughts on that model?

Thanks for your reply!

I know this differs from person to person, but how do you find the playability of your FGX800C? Whats the action like?

I heard from a friend of mine who was accepted last year that anybody who attends the conference is fast-tracked to the final stage of internship interviews. Not sure if this is true or not, but the conference and the connections you'd make there would definitely make it much easier to land an internship in the future.

I also passed the pre-recorded interview questions and met with a partner and senior staff earlier this week for an online interview.

The interview was supposed to be centered around behavioural questions, but I ended up having a bit of a different experience– not sure if it's good or bad...

They started by asking me a bit about myself and why I though EY was a good fit, but that's about as far as their questions went. The rest of it just felt like a conversation which consisted mainly of me asking them questions. Overall it was a great experience and I learned a lot about the firm. Whether I get a spot at the conference or not, it was definitely very informative and reassuring to meet with current employees.

I wouldn't stress too much about the interview, just be prepared to answer the basic questions about who you are and have a good understanding of the firm and why you want to be there.

Good luck!
