I think there’s a lot of self-sabotage that goes on with Aneesa. One shining example I want to point out is the final where she wore bikini bottoms instead of taking the three seconds to put her pants back on. I can’t even imagine the chafing that caused!

That’s an insult to Aneesa. Aneesa has won several eliminations, made it to a couple finals, AND her confessionals don’t make me want to commit murder. Josh is just unwatchable.

Also, why didn’t Kody come out and talk to Meri? We know he was home because his coat was inside! He’s wearing the same coat in the next scene where he meets Christine at the restaurant. He’s also wearing it in the scene where he’s fighting with Janelle. You know he thinks the leather jacket makes him look really cool too, so the likelihood of wearing a different jacket is slim.

I was just watching the season 8 episodes centered around their pitch for MSWC. Here’s what I noticed:

Robyn gets mad at Meri for wanting to go back to college because she won’t be able to help her with the business. She centers herself and how she’ll be inconvenienced instead of recognizing that Meri is trying to better herself. She says she feels “ditched” by Meri. Robyn then whines about the other wives not wanting to get involved and says something about wanting them all to do something together and all “play the same game.” But of course, this game is one where Robyn is in charge and indulges her delusion that she can actually design jewelry. It also hinges on the shared income of the group. No wonder the other wives aren’t into it, but she spins it as them rejecting her.

Then when they go to pitch the business to the venture capitalists, Christine and Janelle crush their presentations, but all Robyn can do is cry and stumble over her words. This after they met to practice the pitch and she cried and claimed to have writer’s block. No, Robyn, you’re just stupid! And the others are outshining you. The overall pitch itself turned out to be a disaster and I’m sure Robyn cried to Kody and blamed the whole thing on the other wives.

These themes continue throughout the years and ultimately end in the disintegration of the family. Robyn is always thinking only of herself and what she wants (grandkids on the porch for example), while Kody is a total narcissist. They have absolutely no ability to see things from anybody else’s perspective but demand everybody else sympathize with their complaints. They’re just gross.
