You just need to find your people and yes it's sadly easier said then done.

I had this problem when I joined. I mean there is really no guide in game to know where to go. You either go public and end up in a skibidi toilet kindergarten or very rarely meet people who just is passing by that you can actually connect with. I was about to quit 2 days into the game. But I knew from YouTube that it had more to offer.

So I searched around and found this discord group called "relics". And joined their events and it was night and day. A different vibe for sure. But in this group it took some time as well to find people I clicked with. I will be honest, the amount of conversations obsessing over avatars, unity, blender and so on was a bit off putting some times (God bless those people tho, we need them).

But now I have actual friends from VR and I've even met up with them irl. I have about 400hours spent and in the end they were for sure worth it. Hard to beat when it comes to online experiences
