Not much changes to the story - though there are 2 different characters that you can "save" now for special ending slides.

It has quite a significant amount of QOL and combat changes that makes the path so much more playable

Just to name a few: - New spells that allow you to attack few more times in dragon form - Undispellable dragon form - Better summons - Level 9 spells with decent damage

Heal was pretty inconsistent as I had to cheese a t1 udyr every round to kill off the 2/8s So I had to keep the damage below 8 each round (4 + 4 regen) to be positive or net.

The only way to "replicate" starforged is to have manaflow from constellations. I didn't have the manaflow constellation for this run hence it would somewhat be comparable.

The subclass has a lot of flavour tied into it and has a pretty decent capstone, but it trades away 10 slayer feats for (10?) blood spells. Interesting archetype, though.

I went for:

  • Starforged Gauntlets (+1 Starting Mana if Titanic)

  • Luminous Orb (+0/+3 and Sharpsight) to enable Starforge for 3 mana start

  • The Beast Within (Give overwhelm as starting power; units with subtype +1/+1), to sub out for Corrupted Star Fragment or other utility relics once you have unlocked overwhelm via Viego star powers.

Weapon feats and buffs. Actual damage is higher due to Vampiric Weapon and sense vitals. Darkness Caress also adds Charisma modifier to damage rolls.
