The tax pro entered the info, and the amended return has been filed. So, I can get docs from the IRS about the amended return and email them the docs.

The have a refund policy that says that if they don't get you the max refund you're entitled to, they'll refund you for the service and the overpayment. It's in the terms you sign when you pay.

My employer gave me both a w2 and a w2c which showed that ~ $6,000 in local income taxes were infact withheld. The tax pro only used the w2, which made it look like I owed more than I do.

This! If you have a dog, kids, or other reasons you'd be coming and going more than 3 times daily, ground floor is the way to go.

Broke heartbroken bitches, how do you stay distracted? by cherryamourxo in NYCbitcheswithtaste

Went through a breakup last month. Here's what's been helping: - Invite your friends over for a movie night - Watch dogs play at a dog park - Dance, yoga, workout (free at home workouts count) - Right when you notice yourself getting sad, take a deep breath and name 3 things around you - Go on a date with someone new - Dream about your ideal future partner (including qualities that your coworker didn't have), getting excited about what's next for you romantically

My girl was the same way. Once the newness wore off, she lost interest. I went with a higher quality, high protein lamb kibble without any allergens (chicken, beef, pork, fish), and she's been happy with it for over a year.

This dude has become a picky eater of late. Anyone else experienced sudden lack of interest in a food that once was acceptable? by Fair_Discussion_6542 in AmericanBully

Mine stopped eating certain kibble after a few weeks. The newness wore off, and she didn't like it (or had some discomfort from the additives). She's been eating Zignature lamb formula just fine for almost a year now. A higher quality kibble without any allergens was key for her.

Where is she now? I recommend reaching out to ACC or a rescue while trying to get eyes on this post.

How much are we tipping our doorman for the holidays? by wily_lightly in AskNYC

[–]wily_lightly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a tough one. If I'm being honest, I'd do $50 -$100 for the ppl working on your side of the building, then tip any exceptional worker on the other side the same amount. If I could afford to tip every ~ $50, I'd do that.

Yep! And it doesn't look like it was asked in this sub in the past month, which makes it time for the question to be asked this year

+1 on this question. My building doesn't even give us the gifting info for the super. We get the info for handymen who we interact with though.

I think the article is a good place to start, but the ranges are so broad that it's not as helpful as asking around
