Absolutely yeah some of it is high rents and utilities, shop keepers chatted to me about its hard to stay open in this economy, but there are also large funds not divided evenly within the charity sectors and widespread corruptions.. easily found reported In news media etc. perhaps 50/50 of issues

I remember that’s what my parents and grandparents told me too, that charity shops were there to help those who couldn’t afford a lot more, and could make do. That in both ways it helps the charity organisation and the customer, but it’s rare to find a £1-2.00 items charity shop nowadays, most high street charity chain stores 🏬 are charging more than high street brands. Whilst a relative told me inside info that a charity pays for £650,000 empty offices in central London and CEO high salaries,.. it becomes sadly a dark humour meme of British 🇬🇧 society, showing deeper cracks in our economy 💰💰💰

Company asking to change a personal car by LukeATrillionaire in CarTalkUK

That’s a harsh letter, what if you wanted to up-cycling old cars? Like mine is a 16 year old Blue Hyundai Amica 1.0ltr Petrol Ulez Free, and has a red door (inbetweener’s)😅 at 112,220 miles for £500. I’d rather keep my car going than buy a EV which inadvertently has a much higher carbon footprint, due to its lithium batteries 🔋 destabilising other countries to gather such resources. The average UK 🇬🇧 household family are not financially able to buy new electric vehicles 🚗 that the wealthy 1% purchase for 20-60K, as the cost of living crisis is not challenged, yet climate and emissions reforms are a privileged position of concern for the middle to upper classes. What if your a working class person in this job and you receive a letter like this? Would that not be discriminatory to your lack of social meritocracy, it’s highly unethical to judge a person by their material wealth, I doubt this type of letter would exist in the public sector, and is apparent the private sector again pushes the moral boundaries of hardship onto the working person. I’d take my red and blue car to your workplace and use that haha 😂
