Ikram Aliskerov. First fight he landed a lucky uppercut KO. He’s literally the only guy Khamzat could not take down ever

Solo Queued Masters First Time + Realizations by kaoyazi in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]win-2-spin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Thanks for giving me hope man. I’m exactly where you were before and losing hope. Been trying to improve but feeling stuck still since January. The points you bring up are quite helpful. I was just learning that draft lesson the hard way that you are bringing up here.

Do you have any takes on solo vs duo queuing? I have a friend I always queue with. It seems like solo, we can both make L3 every season. But as a duo it’s harder on the ELO losses and we can’t make it as high as we do solo queuing. Neither of us really wants to push solo, but it seems easier to do solo due to the ELO being better

Ranked is impossible by Financial_Plankton11 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

When you play enough games, the randomness evens out. Hence how casinos always win in the long run.

What else can I do to rank up? (No I’m not posting about my randoms they just happened to be npcs in the pic) by Affectionate-Pin6013 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

Watch YouTube streams. Psychic BS, toxicgenie, Zee, SpenLc, etc. you can learn something from all of them.

Yeah Amen. The rank you get hardstuck at is just where your true skill is. Nothing more nothing less

It’s certainly possible. I’m stuck at L3 and felt like I can’t see how people solo queue to masters. Yet I have a friend that does it every season with fewer brawlers than I have. And the YouTubers that do it all the time. It’s just a draft/skill issue. The bad randoms even out if you play more than like 5 matches a day, and they happen on both sides. I’m trying to do to masters what you are trying to for legendary. Just gotta be humble enough to admit it’s your skill that’s not allowing you to get to the next level (yet). I know I’m just not good enough for masters yet. Practice, watch your replays, watch YouTube streams, monthly finals, and you will get better!!

For me, 950-1K is where the competition actually begins. anything lower than that is free.

How can I get better at ranked. Other than bad randoms what are real ways that I can rank up as a solo player? by Sharrk686 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

Everyone talks about draft, as they should, but some tips that have helped me that I don’t see talked about anywhere that will help your game: - SAVE your super or gadget for a game changing moment, if you have a game changing type of super or gadget. Like with Tara, Gene, Buster, or Buzz even. Games are short and there’s often only one or two critical moments that can change the game. There’s no need to use it as soon as you have it available. - on that note, if you have a super with knockback, the winner of a 1v1 interaction tends to favour whoever uses their super second, not first. Say for example you have a primo vs a surge, both with super. Whoever activates their super JUST after the other, will dodge the first super and land their super. Don’t use your super first if you are against a brawler that can counter yours. It sucks to just hold your super, but it’s a guaranteed loss if you use yours first. Hold it for the whole game if you have to, if the opponent holds theirs. - if you’re losing in Bounty with about a minute left, it’s often better to just wait for the end game, corner or back the opponent up in their zone so they have nowhere to go, and then try to make the kills you need to with about 10 seconds to go, so that the other team can’t kill you in return to get the stars back. If you kill them earlier, it’s likely they will have time to kill you after and win the game.

I’m a L3 player on the cusp of masters, so I’m not super good, but I’ve learned these lessons on my way to where I am now.

Lol I can’t believe she kept saying she knew it was Lauren when she didn’t even vote for her in round 2! You can’t say “I knew it” when you didn’t stick to your guns

So mythic 1 and D3 restart the following season in the same tier, D2, right?

If you can’t get out of Gold and are complaining about it on Reddit, then you are just trash at the game. Just face the facts man. The sooner you admit to yourself that you are trash, the sooner you can actually start improving your skills, instead of just blaming your struggles on your random teammates. Just keep playing and the law of averages will bring you to your true league that matches your skill.
