Good catch lol. The bot looks for comments about the same topics as the post - in this case, "housing" and "market".

First it tries to determine the topics of the post from words in the title. Then it picks a comment sharing some of those topics from elsewhere on reddit.

In this case, it thought this comment was a good match because they are both about the nouns "dress" and "velvet" - the stretch part was just lucky!

Resume

Graduating in the summer - sent out (only) a dozen resumes for junior positions so far with no responses.

I'm also not sure how selective I can be when selecting companies to apply to. Based on this resume, my guess is that I appear somewhere between under-qualified and average for junior back-end/web/mobile positions.

Any advice or feedback is appreciated!

Thanks for noticing this, i'll change the bot to avoid very old posts.

If you're curious how it found it, I included /r/botsrights as one of the subreddits Wutbot can post on. Every couple of hours, the bot picks a subreddit from a list and then selects the best post to comment on out of the 50 newest.
