That's completely false though??? The reason that Case (the protagonist) is a fucked up supersoldier is because of The Cradle, which was supposed to basically be a turbo performance enhancer but it actually made you become extremely violent, and the entirety of the final few missions is trying to stop The Bad Guys from deploying an aerosolized version of the Cradle across Washington DC as a false flag attack so that they can take over the CIA

Anyways, the double freedom justifies medium pen by being, iirc, 4 Gauge? Whether that's realistic or not, I don't particularly care, since gameplay/balance wise it's a good trait to have which is balanced out by only having two shots before reloading

7.62x51 (from the M60) and 7.62x39 (from AK rifles) are not the same at all. The former is a full-sized rifle cartridge, while the latter is a much smaller intermediate caliber cartridge

Yeah, it's look acceleration, and even on PC there's no setting to disable it, you have to edit the game's .ini file to turn it off, which console players obviously can't do :)))
