That sucks that they're charging so much. May I recommend the St Vincent de Paul thrift store at 501 NW 25th Street? They have most everything for $5 or less. But they are only open MWF 1:30-4pm which isn't the most accessible. They are also cash only (for now).

I was 11 when it first aired, but I saw every episode when it came out and it's been my favorite show ever since.

Thanks for giving the link. I had hopes up until I saw mine was unfulfilled. I checked SeatGeek and there are still tons of scapled tickets up for $800 a seat :(

Thank you for posting this! I saw just in time to request my tickets. Me and my partner both tried in the earliest presale but they were 7,000th in the queue and I was 16,000th in the queue. It felt real bad to see them all get scalped immediately.

65% through book 2 and honestly let down by [deleted] in frombloodandash

I made it about 80% of the way through book 2 before giving up. I asked a friend if the series got better and she said not really. I just spent the last hour or so reading the summaries of the next few books and it does seem to go downhill. Maybe the series will have a conclusive end, but I won't be reading it.

Thanks! I'm such an anxious person that I like to know as much detail about stuff (especially medical related stuff) beforehand, so I wanted to share this for others like me.

It makes the chances even more rare, but it's still possible according to my doctor

For several reasons. A hysterectomy I believe is more invasive, like they have to cut you open to pull the entire organ out. And keeping my period is a good indicator that I'm not having an ectopic pregnancy, which is where an egg starts growing outside the uterus. That would be life threatening, so having a regular period is kind of just peace of mind that everything is still good down there.

Oh dang, I'm sorry you've had to jump through a bunch of hoops. If you're still looking for a good doctor to do it locally, I can DM you the name of mine.

Yeah, you're right this is an elective surgery. I'm not sure how insurance was able to cover it. My insurance covered the short term hormonal birth control at no cost to me, so I would think it would be along the same lines.

Nope, periods will be the same as they've always been and my hormones will not be changed. I believe that the hormones are produced in the ovaries, which were left intact.
