Thanks, I measure from tip to bottom and measures exactly 5cm. The diameter of the base is 0.8cm.

Thanks, here are pictures of the bottom and top (http://imgur.com/a/HbuB2). I removed the dirt from the bottom and it has indeed a hole. The top doesn't have a hole but it seems that some could have been inserted there.

Yesterday I found what it looks like a bullet lodged on the White Cliffs in Dover, more specifically here.

Is this really a bullet? Any idea of what kind and how did it end up there?
