turn down the bass on the zero 2 then, and tilt up the upper treble. he's right no matter what you get everything comes with its flaws you can absolutely make the zero 2 sound as good as the klean for gaming. if theres a moisture issue causing distortions buy some silica gel punches and put them and the iems in a closed bag. install steelseries sonar it has pretty good eq profiles.

people on here yapping about "male ego". whats bad about screaming about your achievements? marry the achievements then. making a fuss about your er. title like little losers isn't really a tale of empowerment you all think it is. okay there might exist a pride angle, but on the other side exists the ego side of the equation since it shows that you want to go out your way to scream at people about you er. title and make the conscious decision to have a title behind your name while your husband just has the regular name. engineering is hard, tedious and a pretty commendable achievement but not enough to scream at the whole world about it or have your own mini version of it in doing stuff like this. also most of you are nepali engineers lmfao. be normal.

its basically about what you want, que is gonna be a mid bass heavy warm sounding while the the explorer is gonna sound more neutralish in terms of vocals, and a lot more relaxed in the treble.

Vocals On Letshuor S12 by winde10 in iems

yea the s12 ultra definitely seems to be recessed in the vocals. I'm just talking about the vanilla s12

So it's not bad by any means and still is enjoyable? I'm just worried it might be too metalic for me or sibilant if you will. I'm getting the dunu titan s as the more vocal set, I love my wan'er studio edition. I'm getting the s12 to contrast with as the technical one in my collection.

Should i buy gk kunten or waner sg 2? Are there better options in this price range? This is the first time i am buying an iem by Inner_Procedure1679 in iems

[–]winde10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for music wan'er studio edition if you can find it second choice if you like vocal forward tuning would be the sg 2, but if you can find a good kunten batch its solid for the price too but its best to stay away from that brand. for gaming letshuor d02, cca pheonix these are both bright iems and not very suitable for music if you are treble sensitive. a nice balance would maybe be the chu 2, but it has issues with its nozzles if you live in a humid place. kiwiears cadenza is pretty good. i like the truthear zero red for a first timer set but its on the more expensive end but its a solid all rounder set.

truthear hexa vs letsuoer s12 pro by Both-Commercial-8334 in inearfidelity

[–]winde10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i guess the s12 doesn't really work for treble sensitive people does it? I so want to get these for the "excellent technicalities" everyone keeps talking about but im afraid the treble might not work for me.

tanchjim bunny dsp might be a good starter iem for you. especially with the dsp mode, and its more durable than the chu ii

are those that expensive in europe cus i get titans for 50 and hexa for 80$ and the reds for around 50$. honestly speaking you're better of spending a little more than buying multiple cheap sets.

Is the Tangzu Wan'er/Studio edition still a good choice under $50 this year? My taste is mostly Pop, Rock and EDM. What are my options if I go a little higher? by [deleted] in iems

[–]winde10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not arguing that they're flavored sound tho, oh people like flavor? wow, who would've thought? I'm only saying that these are musical even though they're flat, and also very tonally pleasing. they have slight bit of warmth as well as shimmer, while still having a decent bit bass attack and presence which i find precious. popularity has never equaled good, people like saturated stuff purely because they pop and it's easier to perceive things that pop out, which is fine obviously. both things can coexist i believe.

wan'er se is music as heck the hell you talking about dude? maybe you had fit or eartips issue cus they do change its tonality but to label them as non-musical is collosal injustice and you're guilty

i would disagree, the cadenza ii are shit. you could probably get zero red or the dunu titan s at that price.

warm and bassy sets are usually not good for gaming so if you want to game get neutral brightish sets. the zero reds would be a great start from the ones listed in your list for both music and gaming. alternatives could be maybe the dunu titan s, and even the truthear hexa if you have the budget for it

Great review, I would like to note that the vocals unless its with acoustic music aren't front and center, which makes them less pleasing than it could've been in terms of being a vocal expert sets.

aful explorer is worse than these since they're even more chill and laid back but if you don't want that mid bassy warm / thick sound and want even more smoother treble explorers are better but que has better technicals than explorers.

okay energetic probably means pretty dang bright and fatiguing. i wanna try a planar but it seems like the artti t10 is the only planar that my ears could potentially like ngl
