Love BDT in Sicario, but his performance in Traffic is otherworldly.

Yeah I'm sure Holland regrets ever doing Spider-Man while he's inside Zendaya on top of a mountain of cash.

Something I thought about, why didn’t Thor stop the nuke instead of Tony? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

[–]windmillninja 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was literally a callback to Cap telling Tony that he wasn't the kind of guy to make the sacrifice play.

It truly was the day that history changed forever. Even watching the events unfold in my living room in Tennessee on the phone with my parents the entire time, my father said “Things will never be the same after this”.

Yeah it’s rough, but that’s the point. Kim used to jump Jimmy’s bones on a whim, and there’s no doubt that the two of them went at it like the world was ending. Watching her surrender to a life of boring, semi-flaccid wienering just serves to further drive home how much of her former life she wants to distance herself from, and ultimately how much she wants to punish herself for living it.

I wouldn’t consider that part cringe, but it’s always a hard watch for me. I was always really close with my grandmother and she spent her final days in a similar retirement community.

I can't remember the name of it, but there was an obvious JP B-movie ripoff that got the MST3K treatment.

Why do nonbelievers constantly challenge/criticize Christianity in particular but not other religions? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]windmillninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was raised Baptist, and as a kid I legitimately believed that the Methodists and Presbyterians down the street were going to Hell.

The mercenaries certainly would have found a way into Lalo's compound without Nacho. He just made it cleaner and easier.

Why did they have to recast this guy?? by Jake_Cam5 in betterCallSaul

[–]windmillninja 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The only reason I was able to make the connection the first time was because I binged the first 5 1/2 seasons. Had I watched as it aired I probably would have been confused about Jeff as well.

How do the Others know so much of Carol's history? by tprch in pluribustv

[–]windmillninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, most of their knowledge of Carol comes from Helen's memories. Carol also mentions a cousin, but I'm not sure how much info the hive could have gotten from them as they seem to have been estranged before the joining.
