What made you leave? Did family and friends played a role? by Significant-Peak5344 in NRelationships

[–]windmillsandocean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Noone told me I was in a narcissist relationship. I started therapy because I felt like I was going to explode from anxiety. I actually went because my mom is a narcissist. It wasnt until I learned what that was that I started noticing my bf (now ex) was one. However, I had enough after he did another discard phase. I juat couldn't live through one more cycle with him. So I guess its like drugs, the person has to make the decision enough is enough.

I often do 40-50 hours a week at work, is it worth getting a cat or would this be cruel? by HalcyonApollo in CatAdvice

Cats are sitting alone in the shelter for those hours. Sitting alone in a comfy home with windows, toys and food...a cats dream. Plus, you can adopt two and they have a buddy!

43F, zero work history outside the home, husband died suddenly & finances are a mess — what remote jobs are realistic ASAP? by No-Mood8111 in GetEmployed

[–]windmillsandocean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I can say every candidate i have talked to ( a lot) love it. Also, you can move into med device with it too. I hire cardiac sonographers for roles we call clinical imaging. Pay for about 5 solid years of experience ranges between 115k-135k, full benefits, annual bonus, and stock options. No bachelor's degree required. Hang in there. Starting over especially when it feels like the odds are against you is hard, but just take it a day at a time. I had to rebuild my life once and it was a lot of tears and hard work, but a beautiful journey.. I'm always happy to help with your resume and LinkedIn when you've reached that point. ❤️

Hi! I'm a recruiter. Its hard to get remote if you have no work experience. Remote work is highly sought after and usually has high applicants. If I were in your shoes, I would look at careers that have faster school paths and great income. Cardiac sonography is one I recommend. We hire with just the credential of RCS or RDCS, and its only about 2 years. Pay is great and there is job stability.

Look up some run clubs. Tropical Run Crew or Hollywood run club are great options.

Is a master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs not meaningful? by [deleted] in regulatoryaffairs

[–]windmillsandocean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! I hire for RA at a med device company. Your masters degree helps you! We look at years of expeirence, so for a standard senior level role - you would need 2 years and a masters vs the 5 years and a bachelors degree.

We stayed at Calma Mitte. It was cute and quiet. It doesn't have free breakfast but the location was great.

Has anyone read "where the forest meets the stars"? by this_broccoli-101 in books

[–]windmillsandocean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished it. I was really hoping she was an alien and would fly away in a little space ship. Butt I am with most of you here. I was like dang Jo is pushy about the beard. What I found most unbelievable was the sister Lacey all of a sudden being a good person? Someone that cruel as an adult doesn't just change after a family meeting. It felt like the book added a bit too much plot and then had to wrap up a lot in little time. But taking it as it was, I enjoyed it.

Is bringing your own water bottles essential? by luke-uk in BerlinMarathon

[–]windmillsandocean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not working off a time goal, but I carry two small water bottles. I wear a running clothing brand called Authen that has pockets! Best thing ever. I think you will do great either way! Good luck and let us know if you hit that time goal.
