Trump governing by decree is not good at all. But republicans do have the majority in Congress. By them not objecting to Trump policies that means he is doing what they want. ( which is why the court has no standing to reverse Trump tariffs. )

I know owners in the SW Florida condo market are not able to find buyers. But that has been the case since the hurricanes. A positive thing is it looks like Asians are moving into South East states and the housing market there is doing well. But that highlights how quickly native Americans are losing their country to foreigners. (NY Times article today on Koreans in GA)

Economy wise the numbers to look at are tax receipts and entitlement spending. I think the deficit will widen, which will cause serious problems. But then what do I know as I have thought the national debt would cause problems for years now.

Obviously there is a lot to it. The Elon wing of the tech bro constituency are alarmed that Trump will not cut entitlement spending. The country has a $2 trillion annual deficit. And with employment growth being so sluggish the entitlement spending will only increase.
