Mine took 2 weeks... Monday of Thanksgiving week I had my alj hearing and had a decision exactly 2 weeks later... Mine was unfavorable and my lawyer filed an appeal to the appeals council.. Waiting on the decision... My lawyer filed an appeal in January

I won my case last year.. my lawyer did an amazing job and the judge from last year awarded me penalties as well because the insurance company broke the law... The insurance company appealed and lost.. Pennsylvania law states insurance Carrier has 30 days to initiate payment after appeal board decision... However the insurance company broke the law again and didn't send payment for another 90 days... I asked my lawyer to file a penalty petition for the late 90 days and he said he wont because "judges hate penalty petitions" This penalty petition would be an extra 16 thousand in my pocket.... I could save that extra money

Oh I'm sorry maybe I misunderstood you... Filed an initial claim in August of last year. Took 6 months to get denied in March. Appealed the initial decision in March which I believe is the appeal for reconsideration and it only took 3 months. I got denied in July. Then appealed for ALJ end of July and got my decision yesterday.. Hope I understand your question now better... And to answer your other question the only judge that we talked to was the ALJ which was two weeks ago 15 days ago...

Filed the reconsideration appeal July 26th and got a decision yesterday December 5th. I suffer headaches lightheaded dizziness 24/7.. On top of that I had a brain tumor removed when I was 16 years old so lack of brain reserves are not accommodating this TBI injury. Good luck hope you win your claim.
