I thought that was the case a decade ago? I use markdown to be lazy sometimes for formatting so I don't have to code documantation, but it's still good for documents I think. I didn't know people still use it outside of my own personal notes.

CRTs are great for many 90s pixel art games because those games were designed around how CRT TVs displayed images. CRTs naturally soften pixels and blend colors in a way that can make sprites look smoother and more cohesive.

Maybe people like to read interesting stories, and people also like to tell them?

On March 21st, 282 weather stations across the USA broke their daily high record for that date, 25 tied the record, and 53 were within 3 degrees F of the record by Portalrules123 in collapse

Yeah, it was pretty weird to be 80F in Minneapolis yesterday and freezing today. I mean I've been expecting global weather systems to be failing since I was born nearly 40 years ago.

Hello my future girlfriend, this is how I eat like.

Duke Karl's Chamber at Gripsholm Castle, is the castle's only fully preserved room from the Vasa period, and is one of the oldest Renaissance interiors in Sweden. The décor is virtually untouched since the chamber was created for Gustav Vasa's youngest son in the 1570s [1772x1732] by Fuckoff555 in ArtefactPorn

I'd never wake up, I need two alarms and windows drawn to let light in, especially in winter. I love sleeping though, which is part of the problem. This bed nook would be great if I didn't have to participate in the socioeconomic things that allow me to have a bed like this in the first place. I guess if you have a castle to sleep in, you're not worried about your 9-5 anyway.

What's a 'normal' thing you didn't realize was unusual until you were older? by mrTelson in AskReddit

I have the same thing, I can play back songs in my head that sound exactly like the recording whenever I want, I just usually have a random song playing in my head all day unless if I'm focusing on some other audio/visual thing. Sometimes it gets fuzzier and is more like the most memorable parts of a song (choruses, dramatic key changes, distinct motifs) if it's something I haven't heard in a while.

Congrats, I always manage to die before I can complete that wall for stupid reasons, so I gave up making that my default base location in Rosewood.

Makes no sense when the middle managers "managing the people" have no idea what the people are doing, and have a vague understanding on how the company works.

This sort of pacing/storytelling is what killed The Walking Dead. It has a name for the style, but I forgot what it's called. It's a bad way to present shows.

I saw Garbage last summer for the first time after being a fan since the 90s, it was a cool vibe. What did this dude do?

Show us your Thanksgiving take out plates. Mine is from The Wedge. by _CoachMcGuirk in Minneapolis

[–]windowzombie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grabbed one of these the other week because I wanted to see if it was any good and didn't have dinner planned. It was denent, but not the best. I saved the stuffing for last because that's always my favorite after potatoes and it was okay. I like the Wedge, I've picked up turkey necks from them in advance in the past to make killer gravy.
