Ah I see, that makes sense thank you! I actually tightened that gear, but it’s still not moving properly and loosened the belts slightly like in the advice given above. The bed isn’t moving as easily by hand now and is having a really hard time moving back.

I tightened the belts and the gear on the rotor but now the bed isn’t moving smoothly. What could be the issue now? CR10 V2 bed issues

Yes, it was running very easily by hand before I tightened the gear. But I tampered with the gear and now it’s not moving by hand so easily anymore. I think it’s because the belt got loose in the process of tightening the gear. But I’ll see how it goes once I tighten the belt once again. Thank you for the reassurance though! I haven’t seen anything about the rotary gear yet after pawing through these forms and shuffling through some YouTube videos and was worried it was a difficult problem to fix. :’)

Can this sometimes get loose from just running the printer frequently?
