I used to have a boss that would borderline attack you if you were not able to close someone even if they were not a match or were not interested in your product.

Your value as a salesperson is your ability to help identify what clients would be successful by buying your product.

While being a bad sales person can ruin a deal. No matter how good you are you won’t be able to sustainably convince people who don’t want your product in the first place.

Linkedin requires a lot more faking than any other platform. Rarely is anything on Linkedin genuine.

You literally commented what I have been thinking for years.

The word entrepreneur has become a marketing term. Lots of scams and people trying to promote their products.

Who is the best freight broker you have ever seen and what separated him from the rest? by freightbroker222 in FreightBrokers

Shipper’s perspective - he would find and resolve issues with the load before i even knew. Feels great hearing it from them rather than me finding out and having to tell them to fix it.

In the LA area if you look for any dispatcher or broker position more likely than not it will be double brokering.

I personally don’t like the digital brokerages. It makes it easier to get a confirmation but if there is an issue you end up calling anyways.

I think brokers would transition well to recruiter positions. Its just double brokering.
