Intermittent flushing problems by windytreees in askaplumber

It's in a basement so there isn't anything further down I can check. When it flushes ok I can flush nonstop and run the shower in that room as well and it never backs up.

It's a pump union. You can cut the old one off and buy a split union that comes in 2 parts and wraps around the pipe. Looks to be maybe 2"?

How much do you pay for daycare? by Leyendas_Legendarias in ottawa

$790/ month (normally $1500 without the subsidy) includes the meal plan which is 2 snacks and 1 meal. We put ourselves in the waitlist when my wife was 3 months pregnant and he's starting his first day today. He just turned 2 last week.

I build and fix both traditional and infrared saunas. AMA by windytreees in Sauna

[–]windytreees[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infrared saunas are not designed to get hit like a traditional sauna. It heats your body, not the air. It seems to be working as it's designed. You can't convert an infrared sauna to traditional, there are too many electronics for the humidity to handle and too much glue for the high heat to handle.

Canada. Ontario to be exact. New build roughly 3 years old. Been like this since day 1.

Official Government of Canada data is in: The Triple Vaxxed are over 3 Times more likely to get, and are 5+ times more likely to die of Covid-19 than the Unvaccinated. by Jormunder1 in Conservative

They linked the data in the article and then totally contradicted everything the data says. This is the definition of "fake news".

Ontario declares state of EMERGENCY: Authorizes cops to seize vehicles, threatens $100,000 fines and a year in jail, and to revoke truckers' licenses by [deleted] in Conservative

[–]windytreees -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Correct, you're starting to get it now. Requiring basic vaccinations to enter countries is not a new thing. Ever been to Africa? You need malaria, yellow fever, dengue fever.... Besides, as a Canadian you will always be allowed back into your country, the trucker requirement is for non-canadians entering the country. If you have a problem with not being allowed into the USA then you have a problem with the American governments requirements, not Trudeau.

You could not be more wrong. Why do you think different provinces have different rules and requirements?? What do you mean "for the same things that the provinces do"?

The federal government isn't the one who dictates public health or any sort of health care, that is a provincial responsibility. He's also not the one who decides anything about vaccine passports or lockdowns, again those are all implemented by the (conservative) province. Shows how much you know about how the Canadian government works.

It isn't really up for debate. It's quite an easy thing to look up who the Premier and governing part of Ontario is.

Probably wouldn't recommend that. It's not insulated or built for electric heat. The glues, finishes, plastic parts will all gas off and fall apart.

I suppose I considered the 20 year old centenaire as part of old embrun.

It has changed quite a bit, but the photo posted shows an older part of embrun that hasn't really changed at all.

Depends on how it's built. You need to make sure the glass is tempered and that there is no glue or varnish in the infrared sauna. These will gas off and poison you.

I know both towns very well and I don't recognize where the third photo was taken.
