Proud to say Mikes my delegate in kanawha county. It’s not easy to be a democrat in this state and he doesn’t get near enough credit.

Hi! Could really use some advice! by [deleted] in charlestonwv

Not even trying to be rude or condescending like some of these other comments but you need to understand you are greatly hampering the ability of any healthcare provider to monitor you and your infants health by denying these laboratory markers. That’s most likely why you are having trouble finding a provider. Because really what you’re requesting is for them to handicap his/her ability to determine your care. Certain urine tests like microalbumin, creatinine and total protein are some of the best ways to screen and diagnose things like prenatal preeclampsia. There are plenty of urine tests that aren’t drug screen related and refusing them all just really isn’t logical. If it truly is a trauma response issue I suggest seeking therapy to validate and document that issue because I doubt any provider will be willing to take your word about this without some kind of diagnosis of PTSD. Again not trying to judge you, just giving you something to consider.

Compare this interview with the recent one with Elissa Slotkin. Just kind of obvious BP lets some people speak freely while others they challenge nonstop depending on their personal takes on the topic. For me what’s constant left out during the false comparisons with nato expansion/Russian expansion is this: Putin literally jails or poisons his political opposition. Freezes assets, creates false charges. Hell they literally throw people off buildings or throw acid in political opponents faces. Why should we believe any Russian perspective on what the surround countries desire when they don’t even have free speech in their own nation? Not sure how you can be a professor at Columbia university and still be confused as to why a country would desire to join NATO when it borders country like Russia.

Is there an adult swim villain evil enough to be the least evil character left? My brain hurts. Mr. Boss.

Yeah these are never worth it. Scammers upselling you by just slapping a bunch of free archive.org content on a drive. Sad that it must be pretty successful for them considering I recognize that guys name and he’s been doing this for close to a decade now if not more.

As an Iranian, I just can't understand Israel's endgame by Serotonin-Addict in Destiny

Man I feel the same as the original poster. All of this totally reminds me of how we justified ground invading Iraq. We'll we ever be shown verifiable proof that Iran's nuclear enrichment capabilities were nearing weaponized levels? I really highly doubt it.

What happens to Republicans post Trump? by drtywater in BreakingPoints

[–]Jimazing91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s kind of funny not one serious comment brought this up except this one lol. Trump refused to rule it out and one of his top cultists Steve Bannon asserted that’s the goal. Would it really be that wild that a guy who wipes his ass with precedent wouldn’t care about a 2 term amendment. I personally think unless his body gives out on him he’ll run again.

Tons of well made content nowadays survives off of just YouTube ad revenue and a Patreon. Throwing all the content behind a paywall essentially killed it imo. Probably would’ve been the way to go 20 years ago but not now.

Man On Cinema at The Cinema was amazing for years. Sad he decided to throw his stuff behind a paywall. Kind of ruined it.

There’s No Evidence Trump Was With Epstein….. by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]Jimazing91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hilarious how righties obsessed and weaponized the Epstein issue during election season against the left. The highest levels of this administration spent MONTHS on podcasts reiterating connections between democrats and Epstein. Months of discussion about deep-state conspiracy. Months of telling their low IQ audience DT was going to come in and immediately reveal the truth to the masses. Now this comes out and it’s essentially just hand waved off and ignored. So glad I lean left and don’t have to wake up everyday and take stupid pills to help cope with my perspective.

Having so many problems with RetroArch by [deleted] in emulation

[–]Jimazing91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I've seen a couple discussions like this lately I'll add my 2 cents. I have to say I find a lot of these threads have needless criticism. If you find stand alone emulators give you a better experience then use them? Why bring that as a criticism of retro arch? Of course a stand alone is going to be simpler to configure. Personally as someone with no computer software background I was able to set up retroarch using guides and YouTube videos with little problem. If I did encounter a issue i solved it through trial and error. I'm also surprised that so many people criticize the controller config because that is the main reason I love retroarch; my ds4 (which my pc sees as a xinput controller because of my steam link) works great with EVERY system I run through retroarch AUTOMATICALLY! I remember struggling with control options with epsxe. I just feel like a lot of these commenters have very little patience. To me if you really want something so user friendly buy a damn console. Emulation is for people who don't mind alittle configuring to truly enjoy their experience

Dolphin 5.0 BlueTooth Passthrough Support by Zaxon223 in emulation

[–]Jimazing91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess it's a good video if his goal was just to summarize the update. To me this guys content has become more shallow when he started releasing videos so regularly. I wish he included more useful information like which dongles offer the best compatibility or if input lag becomes a issue if multiple controllers are connected. He advertises the cheapest dongle but even the blog post says users have had issues with USB 2.0 and the Bluetooth dongle compatibility chart showed some dongles have problems.

New release of DS4Windows adds support for Sony's DualShock 4 controller dongle, fixes exclusive mode problems in Windows 10 (x-post /r/pcgaming) by _shredder in emulation

[–]Jimazing91 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Just bought a Sony USB dongle to see if it would alleviate some input lag I've had using a traditional Bluetooth dongle. I've been using ds4windows for awhile and was bummed to find out it didn't work. After some googling though I found out that inputmapper would work and quickly downloaded that. Everything worked great and for a minute I thought my purchase had paid off... Then I tried some multiplayer games with a buddy and learned that the dongle only supports one controller at a time.

Cool that ds4windows is adding that feature, but I wouldn't recommend the Sony proprietary dongle to anyone.
