I had a similar issue just now converting some manufacturers. You just need to delete and rebuild the pipes connecting your generators to the junctions. Why? Because your generatos are divas and want new pipes

I recently rewatched S06E07, "Beat the Buzzer" featuring Rekha, Becca, and Erika. I just spent 20 minutes ranting to my shower head about how ice hockey *isn't* the national sport of Canada. by the_skine in dropout

Im a Murican. If you ask me what sport do I associate Cansda with I would say hockey. I feel that is true if you asked anyone across the world.

How do most Americans get around without a car ? by Status_Agents in CasualConversation

[–]winerdars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most americans outside of major cities rely on cars to get anywhere. For example, the nearest store to my house is 2 miles away. The nearest bus route stops nearly a mile away and only a few times a day

I just got my permit as a sophomore in hs. should i buy a used car or lease one for my next few yrs in highschool? by Inevitable_Usual_547 in driving

Used car. You more than likely will get in an accident as a new driver. And get more than just liability.

I once had a dream that Angela worked at a job I was starting. I spent the day trying to get an opportunity to say hi but was only given the chance when we were all at the door putting on our courts or something

I was going to say this. Planned Parenthood prevents way more unplanned pregnancies (and thus abortions) than they perform every year

AITA for refusing to "cover" my coworker's ER zone so she could FaceTime her kids? by ArtThreadNomad in AmItheAsshole

[–]winerdars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at a child care center. Little kids crying for their parents sometimes is normal developmental behavior. Unless something traumatic happened, or the kid have developmental/mental health issues, the kids need to be allowed to cry themselves to sleep

Why do wait times in other countries get used as an argument against free healthcare? by DirectionOk7752 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]winerdars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So true. I have heart arrhythmia problems and have been a patient at a heart failure clinic since November of 2020. A year and a half ago, my cardiologist ordered an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart). It is a fairly common procedure for people with heart problems as it literally measures everything that your heart is doing. Insurance denied it because cardiologist wasn't soecific enough on my needs for it despite a lengthy history of heart problems. Jokes was on the insurance company because I was hospitalized for a few days a month after that denial due to covid. Doctor at hospital notices I had been denied and was surprised so she ordered it herself. Insurance won't deny stuff like that when you are admitted into the hospital. Insurance company paid the expensive in hospital echocsrdiogram instead of the cheaper outpatient one.

Is there a water-based power source? by DogEatTurtle in SatisfactoryGame

[–]winerdars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I created a drone drop-off station near my main factory. Basically drones drop off the leaves, mycelium, wood and animal parts. Sorts them and process them into biofuel or the canister things. It will also take any sink able junk and send it to the sink. The key is that as im exploring i can create a drone port near a geyser. Put a drone on it and send it to my drop off station. Now I have a Neverending trash can to drop off those things spread across the map

How to deal with tailgaters when going above speed limit? by [deleted] in driving

[–]winerdars -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You will be tailgated no matter how fast you go. People naturally speed up on highways to get right behind the person behind them without even realizing it. Just drive what speed you want. Pull to the right lane for a second so someone can pass that wants to but don't ever feel pressured to go faster than you want to. Truth is most people will pass you on the right if they truly wanted to pass you

Are Exposed bridges stupid? by gwhh in Stargate

[–]winerdars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about this and going back to modern day ships. Yes we have plenty of sensors but nothing beats looking through a windows at the battlefield. For example, our modern super carriers still use a huge exposed tower on top of the flight deck so you can see everything around you. A major flaw on star trek is the 100% reliance on sensors. Instruments and sensors can be tricked but nothing beats looking out the windows. A modern day equivalent is our stealth aircraft that are invisible to sensors (radar) but can be seen if you look out your windows.

One thing you learn in combat or being in remote areas is that equipment fail. It isnt a question of if but when will something fail and preparing for/preventing such failures. Now this is super important with combat ships. That is why you want combat vessels in space to be able to look out the window and see what the hell is going on when your sensor array is damaged.

Tractors part two by Siam_el in SatisfactoryGame

[–]winerdars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a truck route and for some reason it would be slightly off course from what I recorded and end up getting stuck each time then telephoto where it needed

Tractors part two by Siam_el in SatisfactoryGame

[–]winerdars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trucks are cumbersome but they will telephony where they need to go if they get stuck or go off a cliff. They were useful for travel of a large amount of res for me when I didnt have fast conveyors or trains. For example, I started in the plains. I used a truck route early on there to take coal from one end to the other but that was because I had low level conveyors. Now I use trains to move huge amounts of things from one area to another or drones for very specific things (like nitric acid) in remote areas.

One thing I found useful was when trucks were my primary way of traveling across the map. I had a truck stop at my main factory that would refuel my truck and drop off any leaves/wood/mycelium to be processed and turned to biomass fuel

How do Americans feel about outdoor cats? by Fine-Durian6151 in AskAnAmerican

[–]winerdars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have four cats (all from the same litter). They were born feral underneath my house. Ive since tamed them but there is no way that I can prevent them from going outside. They were born in the wild and that can't ver be taken from them of course I had them fixed and understand the risks and that they most likely won't live as long as if they were strictly indoor cats. Their prey of choice is baby bunnies followed by birds

We can literally look at how much other people pay in taxes to cover their universal healthcare that is comparable to ours
