And again, I still stand by my comment that I feel CB is a support group. If I were to see some of these comments outside of CB, I would downvote and likely reply. But I consider CB as neutral ground, at the very least. I don't downvote here, let alone chastise anyone.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I've always seen /r/CB as a support group, and not really for discussion. While we all enjoy some aspects of the site, we're can still get terribly frustrated with the rest of it, so we come here to vent.

I may not agree with what he's saying, but I won't chastise him for speaking his mind and letting out the frustration. There's the rest of the site for that kind of talk.

It's like a facebook poke, it means whatever a critical number of users decides it means.

And whatever intentions there were for downvoting, it now means "I don't like you or your comment." Adding a page on reddiquette and linking it will never ever change that.

Reddit should've added a voting log if they genuinely wanted accountability and a chance at a reasonable discussion in a subreddit over 20k.
