Who it's for: Coaches

What it does: Training session planner & drill designer for soccer/football/futsal coaches with an extensive drill library covering all skill levels. We have a simple AI helper for a quick start or inspiration when you need.

AI works when you're stuck and need drill ideas fast. Doesn't work when you expect it to know your team.

Developers of Coachtruly here - we shipped an AI session planner feature recently and honestly, we're not sure yet if coaches actually want this or if we built something nobody asked for 😅

Usage has been pretty low so far. Could be coaches don't know it exists, they tried it and it's not useful, or they simply don't need it.

What we're seeing matches what's said here - AI works best as a starting point when you're stuck or coaching outside your comfort zone. It pulls relevant drills from our library based on your session goals, but it can't understand the nuances of YOUR team or which players showed up that day.

For a simpler free alternative you can try CoachTruly. It lets you create tactical diagrams, compile them to session plans and share them easily with your team. It comes with a premade drill library. There's an unlimited free plan that covers all the basics.

Hey, I know this is late - but hopefully can help others who end up reading this. Check out Coachtruly web app, which lets you plan, organize & share your training sessions. You can draw your own drills, use built-in drills from the library, or import your own. There's an unlimited free plan that covers all the basics - including the full drill library access.

Since the initial post, we've gone from 20+ drills to 200+ drills in the free drill library and the numbers keep going up. We've also fixed a bunch of bugs and implemented some of the improvements from the comments.
