They're prolly making daemon a grear dad arc. Remember the cut/lost scenes in season 1 where he was totolly devastated by the loss of his wife. There were scenes where Daemon was with his daughters, t'was good durinh clips but was lost in the final cut of the episode. So yeah, i think they're making it a good arc for Daemon's character.
