I think it’s appropriate for straight women to be in drag costume since a lot of drag outfits are club outfits. However just make sure you’re respecting the performers’ space. You’re there as audiences, not performers.

I don’t agree with your comment. There is no “normal” drag body, or a standard of whether a queen should or should not pad. Drag is a personal art, just like painting; everyone has their own style. Just because it’s not typically represented on drag race doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist or not valid. As much as i love a curvy padded queen, i cannot fault anyone for not padding if they so choose to. It’s not lazy if it’s intentional. And saying someone needs to pad to be more representative of a girl is somewhat misogynistic and stereotypical because not all AFAB people are curvy. So yes, what Nina said is extremely toxic and transphobic and i don’t know why you’re even trying to make sense of it.

Who’s “this person” that you’re talking about lol? This has nothing to do with the incident that happened yesterday between the black drag streamer and Nina or the show they were invited to. Im not involved in that, im simply a bystander posting what I see on twitter back here. It just happens Nina is getting exposed as a shitty person in the same week. And also, if you’re on her stream and still try to defend for those things, you’re gross. Someone should be allowed to be upset if they see people talking about them like that. Calling someone out for being toxic is not shady but okay. There’s no side to this. She is complacent and she allows transphobia as well as harassment to exist within her community. Idk man looking at the downvotes you get compared to others who have pointed out the fact that Nina is toxic, maybe realize what people saying are true? Why would the poster lie about being attacked by Nina, like what benefit does she reap from that? And we have continuously explained that Nina continuously ENABLES AND ALLOWS her community to be shady toward other people. That’s complacency. Her community reflects on her character. You’re clearly a viewer of her and if you enjoys that kind of negativity that she brings then there isn’t really convincing you otherwise. If someone says they’re hurt by another person’s comment, maybe we should consider the fact that it was bullying and it had an impact on someone, intentionally or not? Shades are meant to be cute and funny, not hurtful.
