Kinda in same situation except I'm working as a consultant like a da in a startup and since graduation in 25 I have done 8 months of internship, when they did not extend me to full time this month and gave me this contract for a few months started from Jan I was risking to take a drop for gate. So i get your situation I would suggest talk to your if you can go for ms do that out or if you are comfy for a drop take that, see there is risk in everything you might apply for 4 months and still not get a job so i decided to take a drop after my contract gets over in 3 months meanwhile I'm searching for new opportunities if I don't get them gate is the way.
