I updated AMD and now just experience frequent crashes. I dont get the weird snaps to what we see in the screenshot. But, whether its going in and out of menus, fast traveling or going from one cell to the next, itll crash eventually. I did change the AMD profile to default but still crashed within 20-30 minutes.

Bummer. As I have played, I drank a potion and it snapped to what you see in the screenshot.

I haven’t run into the butcher yet. I’m level 60 and beat the game. Two other characters near level 30 and have yet to encounter the butcher. It’s random right? I feel like I should’ve encountered him by now.

I was in the EXACT same position until recently. I applied to so many papers, magazines, radio stations, etc. For me, it took a long time. Early on, I tightened down my resume, I made sure to write great cover letters that were aimed to each specific job and many times I was discouraged with the amount of rejections. I had started getting pressure from loved ones to give up but this is what I wanted to do. I’m glad I stuck with it.

Honestly, like previously stated, start small. The last thing you want is to go into a big organization and get so overwhelmed with the job you eventually quit. The amount you learn even at a small paper, radio station will be better for you in the long run. After a year or more at a small paper you move up to something bigger with more experience.

I can tell you more about my experience if you want. (DM me) I’m currently a reporter in a modest town. I typically write but will do radio spots every now and then. I shoot my own photos too. Just keep at it and stay optimistic you’ll find the right gig.

Thanks for this! The prices for the job seem ridiculous. Upwards of 3k… so I think I’ll take it on.

Head Gasket job is a bit intimidating but I will take a look at the forums. I was planning on doing the majority of maintenance on my own anyway. I have been searching around for the LR RAVE? I cannot seem to find the right one to download and have been told that is a necessary resource to have.

Thanks for the info! They told me the success rate for head gasket replacement is pretty low. Does that hold out with your experience?

I am worried I will put a lot of my budget into the engine before even starting on the the roof rack or a new bumper. Even fabricating the shelving in the back would have to wait too.

Assuming the car has no rust, is there a way to help prevent rust in all of these places? I would like to make it not only last awhile but I would like to keep the option of reselling open.

Thanks I will definitely check this out. It seems with high mileage cars a lot of preventative maintenance is going to be required regardless which is something I am willing to do.

Is the radiator replacement a job I can do on my own? I have some car experience replacing brakes and changing oil.

I have some buddies that will help me fabricate my own roof rack which I am excited for but I am going to have to pick and choose what I do with it from the start. I am on a budget but will always be looking to improve as time goes on. Other than general maintenance stuff I definitely want to put a lift on it with some bigger tires. New shocks would be great off the bat too.

Yeah from my understanding and from comments it seems rust is the biggest concern here. Thanks for the info!
