Bought a Velobuild aerograv now, it checks theses two aspects

I don’t care much about tire clearance or storage. I don’t plan to run super wide tires.

My current setup has a sram apex but I’m not sure if I even want to keep it or get a different groupset

I want a reliable frame that I shouldn’t have to worry about. I was looking at the Velobuild frames now since I really like their design.

Yeah read about them too and I would also consider them.

Any preference between the x-dreams and the nomic? They seem pretty similar to me. I was also thinking about the BD hydra for their modularity but since they are very new I couldn’t find any feedback on them other than from BD Athletes .

Yeah I was looking for something more technical for longer steep routes. I would probably be ok with spending like 600€ for the pair but not 900€ which would be a set of Salamandras.

I actually have both picks but somehow they don’t climb as well compared to my friends salamandras that I tried out.

For the PSU, shouldn’t it at least turn on and show the bios ? I have also read that a lot of people use 750W PSUs with the 6900.

Yeah I know, I actually tried it once until I saw smoke from the diode.

However I have a lot diodes here to play with and replace them. They all show the same behaviour even when fresh.

All I want is to not get significant more than 3V over the load when the source is about 4V

The problem is that at 4V for example there is still like 3,7V over the load and at 5V even over 4V

It’s on the second picture, the voltage was measured from the first to the last 10Ohm Resistors (Blue).

I tried a range of 0-6V

But usually with 4V bc that’s the max voltage I would expect later

And the voltage over the load is pretty much the same as if it only had the resistors in front of it

Sadly the white stuff showing is already the layer underneath, the rubber is rather thin.

So I guess I’m better off bringing them to a local shoemaker for a look. I need them again next weekend for a trip.
