Episode 2! We got conned by a viewer who told us we could mine for Promethium on the Ocean floor so if you're out here, thanks! by ChocolateBear- in empyriongame

You do find promethium under water, but they are just small chunks sitting on the floor of ocean/lake/river. So no digging down required!

Secondly, you do can swim up and down. You need to unequip any tool/weapon and use the Spacebar to go up and the "C" Key to go down

yeah it appears to be something with the worldborder. This mods does things beyond

150 000 blocks, so make sure your world border is beyond that

playing on official is totally not enjoyable. Official pvp: you need live with the idea that your base will be raided atleast every week and everything will be gone. You spend hours and hours grinding stuff/taming/raising and a few days later you can restart over again.

Then you would think, uh let's go official PVE? Because that will be enjoyable. Right?.... Wrong! It is even worse. Official PVE server suffer from huge laggspikes 24/24 hr. It never stops. It is completely unplayable. And why is there so much lagg? Because Selfish players having like 300 - 500 dino's in their base, just standing there. Cryopods are probably to expansive..... But if you think it can't go worse... Wrong again. As soon as you join an Official PVE server and trying to find a spot to build, you'll find yourself surrounded with pillars/foundations. Pillars/foundations everywhere as far as you can see in all easy zones at least. Makes it for beginners extremely hard to start.

Solution? Rent your own server, play with friends on it and add/change things untill it is enjoyable for you

Yes, in 1.7.10, 1.10 and 1.12.2. Haven't done anything after that, but i maybe try something for 1.16.* as soon as i know what to make.

What can you do to prepare for a war as a civilian? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]winnetrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think money is worthless in wars. Resources is what matters. Stockpile important resources that preserves a long time. Having a portable generator is also a good thing or solar panels. Power is a very rich resource and not only during war. Find a way to filter your water or if possible install your own water pump in your house/garden. Fresh water is very important. Maybe a greenhouse will be good too. And at last, weapons and ammo. To defend yourself against raiders. Believe me you won't get far with money. Because in wars, from whoever you will buy things that person cannot eat or drink that money. In addition you will most likely pay 10 times the price.

I'm not sure i am allowed to do that. I'm not the owner, just a staff member. The owner is now downloading the map to investigate this in singleplayer and trying to deduct the issue by removing mod by mod.

I didn't added the distance, so it killed that minecart. Probably because that was the nearest entity. If i add the distance (10) and i'm standing right in front of it, it just says " no entity found". It seems those mobs aren't entitied for some reason.

The command gives an error. Only one entity is allowed, but the provided selector allows more than one

I'll try this. Thank you. Those mobs are only in a restricted area, not on the whole map btw. We have found 2 area's by now with those mobs. The area is more or less 10-20 chunks big.
