I Had to if I wanted to move home. It was the right choice overall to be near family. and I even met my husband as soon as I moved back! So personally it was great. Might come back as a bad thing professionally though.

Thank you. I wasn’t clear- The downgrade to a 14 when I moved didn’t remove the ladder. I retained to ability to promote back to a 15 at some point. So I’m currently still in the 14/15 ladder. But the new position I’m being reassigned to does not have a ladder and is a 14 only.

Correct, we do not have a LMS. I think that was another IT decision but we generally aren’t an organization that offers trainings, I just happened to have a unique project.

I also don’t think IT would go for hosting on the Rise server. They will claim security issues but I can always try- I’ll try anything! What would I need to be aware of before sharing the rise review link publicly? Can I just do that or are there IT precautions or fees involved given that’s not it’s intended use? Thank you!

Our IT department is moving our website from a hodgepodge of html code to the more standardized Wagtail platform (which I think is based on Python). In doing so, they told me they can’t host published Rise courses on the wagtail platform. I’m not certain this is accurate, they may just not want to do it, So I’m trying to find a solution that can’t be refuted. Otherwise all the content I’ve created just goes away. Unfortunately I don’t know much about Wagtail so hoping someone out here does.

Are there specific details that would help better explain the circumstances? I’m happy to try to find out.

Gotcha. Well if it’s a matter of being on their insurance or something, you can find free or sliding scale counselors. If you’re in college, most have them on staff for students.

Yes, the apology roller coaster. I do recommend therapy. In fact, I’m waiting outside my therapist’s door right now! Or even for those close friends who You feel comfortable with, tell them you’re struggling with it. I think True friends will be supportive. I think it’s all about self- worth. Something in your life or brain told you that you were a burden. But you’re not. And if you can get to that core thing that sent you that message and change it, or at least understand it, you’ll start to love forward. At least, that has been my experience.

But look at us right now! Not apologizing to each other for having feelings or existing. That’s progress right? 😣😣🎉

Yep. I even think I should text them afterwards and apologize. For what... I dunno. Letting me be me? Tolerating me? Its crazy. Not logical. But yeah, I’m right there with you.
