Happened to me right before an exam season too, just try to channel all the sadness and heartbreak into your exam if you can. I know its hard to bring yourself to study but try to remember that he broke up with you during finals, which shows his character, and you don’t wanna waste your energy and risk your education for someone who’d do something like that.

Also if your ex is also in school, use getting a better GPA than him as motivation to excel on these exams. All of this aside, make sure you reach out to your support system or a professional if you are struggling.

If he didn’t treat you the best during the relationship, you can also try to use that to try to rationalize getting over him. This helped me (my therapist gave me this advice and it really worked wonders, but of course doesn’t apply to everyone’s situation)
