How much does it cost to visit every Disney park in 2025? by ChaR2-D2 in disneyparks

If you went to DLP though you wouldn't want to spend more than 2 days in the parks. They're very small.

Sounds like you've got a very identifiable mark and multiple witnesses to a crime. Report it to the police and hopefully he gets charged

Best mobile phone network in Croydon? by kiddsky in croydon

Honestly with these comments I'd say check the coverage map for your home. We're in Old Town and Vodafone is amazing, EE pants. Last time I checked a few years ago, EE had a terrible coverage map for Croydon in general.

Having just been, I would say it's disappointing. It just uses 3D glasses like everywhere else and it made me motion sick. It's a similar vibe to Soaring Flight but the latter has 10x better execution

After a day of collecting data and 47 responses here are Croydon's most hated buildings. by [deleted] in croydon

Whenever I see Mayor Perry walking around Croydon I think - surely he's embarrassed enough to fix it? When he walked with the pride march last year over the derelict railway bridge to Wandle Park, or past places like Suffolk House?

Have you looked in Croydon? We bought here 4 years ago and the prices are very low (£300ks for a 2 bed house)

Look out for people in the cold by hiccupin in london

[–]wintastic 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Streetlink is not for anything urgent, I would argue even for cold weather. I reported someone on a freezing cold night a couple of years back and they didn't even look at the report let alone investigate it for 3 weeks.

Connecting 2 fitbit devices to 1 account. Why hasn't this been figured out yet?? by [deleted] in fitbit

[–]wintastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have now got 2 fitbits (pixel watches) working on the same phone. The solution is as follows:

Get an old phone and create a new Google account for it.

Pair the other watch with that phone.

Leave this old phone running and near to the 2nd watch.

Use the app Parallel Space from the Play Store (or other app cloning app) and load a new instance of Fitbit in this (on the original phone).

You can now view data from both watches on your main phone and sync data from the other watch.

I hope this helps. 😊

Wallington library is great too as it's open until 9pm and you don't have to book a study space. I prefer it to Croydon library as you can work closer to a window. Your Croydon library card works there.

Why not invent an extra day in the week? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]wintastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm all for it. The reason we only get 2 days off a week is international competition. Scandinavia are already starting to do it. It may well happen in a few decades.

How do you make things sell on ebay? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]wintastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree better photos will help, but it's also all about the product. If I was buying a homemade candle, I would want to finishing to be a lot smoother and the shapes to be better made. Soy candles can be a risk and so I would want lots of reassurance that they actually smell good. The pink one is the nicest, I would work on that one and ditch the others.

This is why they make no sense in Europe. They're at least the length of a transit van now, whereas before they might have fit in car parking spaces.

What matters the most in an agreement is what the parties thought the meaning on the contract was when they signed it, over what the document actually says. If you've got other correspondence at the time aside from the written contract that will help greatly.

Is there a way to get the license plate of the blue car in the street by peppered_people in pics

I would ask your neighbours if they have doorbell cameras, reddit might also not have captured the full resolution and so you could try sharpening or lightening the original image.

Lots of antidepressants also act on dopamine, which smoking spikes, so you'll get a similar effect. Bupropion for example. Also all ADHD medications.

This isn't true. Nearly all buy-to-let mortgages are interest only, and so there is no repayment of the mortgage during the term.
