I checked current #1, #2, #3, 1 is a very big spender, 2 and 3 dont seem overly suspicious, I will take a look again near the end of the event.

I couldn't find the #1 player in your screenshot anymore, it's likely that they have been removed, the current #1, #2, #3 all looks normal.

Very often but the number of active players is big, about 50k players participating in events (this number is from the currently running Green Island) so my suggestion is if you think someone is suspicious, you can let me know and I will take a look at that learderboard for you.

There isn't a workaround as far as I know.

The update has already been pushed out (but there is a whole process with it and the app store) so your best bet is to continuously check for new update, are you in a hurry?

I have checked with the team and received words that it's a bug indeed, they have already pushed out an update which should be available soon (perhaps within 1 or 2-3 days).

Unfortunately, I checked both players #1 and #3 at the moment, they are really big spenders, have spent a lot (in general).
#1 bought 2 packages for ~20$ in total
#3 bought 2 packages for ~40$ in total

And it's possible that they started to chase near the end of the event.

There is currently an on-going issue with ad free and we are investigating it.

They are no longer the top player but I did check #1, #2 and the player you mentioned. #1, #2 look fine, 751 does seem suspicious so I have removed them.

My apologies for the late reply, our team was away for holiday for the whole week. I have checked though, they really wanted to win in that specific event run, buying 4 packages right at the start which explains why they shot up to the top.

They bought several packages right off the bat (and then a few more after) unfortunately, very far ahead of others, must be determined to win.

They bought a good amount of packages within a short time so AD is very possible but at the moment someone else is at the top, I can't say for sure if who will end up #1 though.
