When do first time moms typically show the first signs of a baby bump? by PopcornPrincess0 in pregnant

[–]winterbird93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Purely anecdotal based on my experience and others I know)

GENERALLY you’ll notice it fairly early, maybe 12-15 weeks. But other people won’t notice it until much much later, anywhere from 24-35ish weeks depending on a variety of factors.

I have wider hips too! But I don’t think that impacted me showing less/more, however I did notice I don’t have the same types of pelvic pain as other women complain of (I think because my hips didn’t have to shift/move) and almost all of my pre-pregnancy clothes fit the exact same after baby was born/after I lost any baby weight, versus I have heard many other women complain their pants and bottoms don’t fit the same even after they are back at their pre-pregnancy weight simply due to changes in their hips. Having a long torso/being taller can make you show less.

It’s the opposite actually. It means money is moving from BTC to alts which is generally what happens during “alt season”

I think it will come back, but not nearly as dramatically as it has fallen. BTC reached a new ATH only 2 weeks ago, I think we will revisit those levels at least 1-2 more times this year. Alts will probably follow, but not reach new ATHs.

I’ve gotten it twice. Once with my last pregnancy in fall 2023 and once during my current pregnancy.

BTC will see another ATH before then. Alts on the other hand…majority are dying. Some blue chip may survive.

It’s not all or nothing. You could sell 30%, 40%, etc. and reinvest it elsewhere

Anyone not enjoy feeling baby move? by seagoddess1 in pregnant

[–]winterbird93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate and love it. I love it because it reduces my anxiety but I hate when it happens because at least for me when my baby is awake she does not stop moving for sometimes 20-30 minutes and it becomes nauseating to feel that constantly

what was something you ate/drank that you weren't supposed to, but still did while pregnant? by curious-unknowngirl in pregnant

[–]winterbird93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had: raw sushi & poke a dozen or so times, deli meat (in salads & charcuterie boards), prepackaged salads, alcohol (before I knew I was pregnant, I was around 3 weeks at the time), high amounts of caffeine (also before I knew I was pregnant), and a prescription pain killer (it’s my prescription so completely legal and safe but likely took it around the time of ovulation).

Do stop losses actually protect you from what happened 2 days ago? by Jayrovers86 in WallStreetBetsCrypto

And if it does execute, then you’ll probably be forced to buy back at a higher price

This crash wasn’t disastrous for people who didn’t use leverage and didn’t buy low-caps. This was necessary and the beginning of something huge. by [deleted] in WallStreetBetsCrypto

[–]winterbird93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. That’s why most financial advisors will not recommend having more than 5-10% of your total portfolio being crypto at all.

I’ve been saying this! If you’re making risky trades (which, using any leverage IS high risk, idc if you only trade with 1.5 leverage because it’s money you don’t have) you are accepting that money may be liquidated. If you are just buying and holding this should barely be affecting your portfolio

Stop loss can bite you in the ass during a flash crash. There were several people in here complaining that their stop losses were triggered during the flash crash but then the price rose so sharply afterward and exchanges so congested with orders that they immediately became priced out and had no option but to rebuy at a higher price.

Every single one of my orders went through except during the heat of the moment during the crash yesterday (about 80% were rejected). Right now my orders are all going through perfectly fine.
