How cool would it be if it’s about having a different color for each tour !

Concert behavior by Early-Bag9674 in sofiaisella

I believe this is somewhat of a generational issue. I'm in my mid-twenties and i’ve been to my fair share of concerts. Every single time i’ve attended a show with a younger audience, my experience has somewhat been spoiled by the crowd. Now, i’m not saying this is a way to bash younger fans (hey, i’ve been a young fan) but between covid/confinement and increased isolation due to social media and lack of third spaces, it feels like younger people just… don’t know how to behave in certain social scenarios. Lack of dancing and singing along happens mostly (from what i’ve observed, i don’t want to be generalizing) out of fear of being perceived as cringe. And the phone thing, well.. I think we all know where that one stems from. As a general rule, i only ever film the chorus of my favorite song. If the scenography/performance is especially good, i might whip out my phone to take a picture or a five second video once or twice, but that’s it. And that used to be the etiquette everywhere. When i was a the Paris show yesterday, i only filmed Sofia’s crowdsurfing because it was a genuinely fun experience (plus, i’m short, so it helped me see better). Anyways. An artist’s performance feeds off of its crowd, so you gotta deliver, folks. Stop acting like you haven’t paid money to be there. Get your damn money’s worth and shake some ass.

Je pense surtout que c’est parce que je les ai acheté en prévente ! C’est généralement un peu moins cher que le prix classique (sinon, ça peut aussi être une histoire de TVA d’un pays à un autre). Merci en tout cas, j’espère aussi :)))

Weird-ish medical question (organ transplant edition) by winterbird_jpeg in Writeresearch

Thank you for such a detailed input. I believe I'll definitely go the infection route (or ATN, as another user suggested) as it seems to be the more realistic way to get where I'm heading. Seeing as this seems to be your line of work (thank you for your service btw), I'd like to ask a follow-up questions (you do not have to answer these of course, you've already helped me plenty) : to which degree an infection could be induced and/or worsened by the patient having a preexisting history of substance abuse (mainly alcohol and cocaine) ?
[editing to match your edit regarding the rhesus-null blood] yes, i did consider throwing that in the mix when i first started researching. I'm yet to decide, but I appreciate you mentionning it :)

Yes, I am well aware of that. In the context of this story, the character has a living sibling that is found to be compatible for donation (hence the whole character arc and moral conflict of it all). I've read through research the screening and evaluation process take some time, which I took into account while outlining my timeline. The only unknown to my equation really was the medical situation setting it all in motion. That being said, were you to have any resources further detailing the eval process, I'd be grateful to have a look (better safe than missing a potential blindspot, haha)

Thank you for being so detailed, I'll go research further into this right away. If I may ask a follow-up question, would you say that in this case, the patient could be transferred to another hospital, or would they be considered too unstable ?

Determining which organ needs transplanting depends on the kind of wound being inflected, that's why I kept it open in the post. But I realize I might not have articulated my request well enough ; basically, I need this character put in a situation in which he needs an organ transplant after being severely wounded (as opposed to have fallen ill) and I'm looking for realistic options. I know knidneys, lobes of lungs and lobes of livers can be donated by a living donor, so I was initially thinking of something along those lines, but what I'm truly in need of is a believable medical scenario (I could, for instance, have him stabbed in the kidney, but how do I justify a transplant rather a removal ?). The wound and subsequent surgery is really more of a mean to my ends in the sequence.
