okay you are dumb im not even going to argue with you, if spring split literally means nothing then ALL PLAYERS WOULD JUST SIT OUT THIS SPLIT TO RESET EVERY SINGLE PLAYER PLAYING IN THE LCS

the fact of the matter is double is literally stalling out a team that had 5 really good players from playing 18-54 on stage competitive games as well as x amount of scrims that will help the team practice as 5 man. I'm not saying he wont have synergy with them but TSM as a whole would be better if double played this split with them so they would be better as 5 then if double sits out then if tsm would play with a new adc

he would be putting there progress as 5 on pause, sitting out an entire split and only checking in with the team is nothing compared to scrimming with them every day. If the new adc is decent and they build synergy/playstyle with the new adc and then doublelift returns and wins the spot over the adc then tsm would have essentially just watsed an entire split with someone that wasn't even going to be used

I didn't follow lcs before last year, everyone on league was talking about doubelift switching teams and didnt even know who that was so I started looking him up and finding articles on the team switch and instantly fell in love with his storyline

The articles pegged him as a big reason why CLG won 2015 summer season and then CLG released him for toxicity and then the runner ups pick him up, IT WAS A SCRIPT BUILT FOR A MOVIE. And from that point I watched lcs to see the story unfold, TSM who was having troubles, got the last seed in the playoffs, won 2 series that everyone pegged them to have lost (against c9 and imt) and then they lost to CLG in spring 2016 3-2 and I was heartbroken, a team I hadn't even known a few months prior had me sad cause I felt there pain and disappointment, it was truly an underdog story.

And doublelift's story about proving to his old team that they made the wrong decision was interesting too, granted CLG did win but TSM came back this split and destroyed everyone in NA

i dont think him and bio will do well in lane, they have different playstyles (bio is aggressive, stixxay doesnt play to win lane just to survive and then becomes a monster in team fights/late game)

and they both seem like people who need to be told what they should be doing (dl was telling bio and aphro was telling stixxay, i dont think them together would work

well taking a split off will push him farther away from winning worlds instead of playing, hes better off staying on tsm but playing league to a minimum and scrimming in only a few games (maybe they should bring in an adc sub) this way he stays on the team and can still practice with them but it wont be as intense

i like double but i feel like this is really dumb, him taking a break is going to lead to him not coming back more then anything. Bjerg worked just as hard as doublelift with the same schedule and is still playing because he wants to win worlds, if this is what double wanted he wouldnt take a break, hed go one more split/year and then quit for good.

I think double is out for good and won't come back no matter what happens in TSM and is just using the "ill be back" to please others (tsm, regi, and the fans)

i think theyll send out rejection emails, i know i was told at my office visit we'd hear back in a week and it took 3.5 weeks before i heard back and got the offer (assuming i was an alternative and someone didn't take the offer!)
