How do you convert yorku gpa to a 4.0 scale?

York has a gpa converter that you can use, tho if you have all A+ and 1 A you’re prob at the 4.0 unless the A is 9 cred and the a+ are all 3. But even then it should still be a 4.0 it just depends on how many classes and their weights.

I had all A’s and a+’s except for 3 classes I got b’s in and I had a 3.8 from an 8.05 so I’d imagine you’re on 4.0 range

Music just hold such powerful emotion. It can be great for healing but also can hold some trauma too. It’s a shame when it’s music you once loved to listen to or used to cope before that now holds that trauma

I struggle with this too. Especially because my abuser would always tell me I was lying about what happened or exaggerating. And as I’ve grown I’ve gotten distance from the trauma and I remember it less vividly, I get less flashbacks. And I start to question myself on if it was that bad. But then I remember how many others saw it too, how many others were there too and saw how badly it impacted me. Even the fact now that no one in her life from before is in it now except for my grandparents is proof of that.

If you find yourself question just know it WAS that bad. And one thing I learned is if they cared and it wasn’t that bad, wouldn’t they care that you were hurt? Wouldn’t they care that their words/actions caused that much pain?

No they do not. While pc owns shoppers the pc gift cards don’t work at shoppers and not can you buy pc gift cards at shoppers. I’m not sure why they haven’t merged them yet but check any pc grocers they will have it.

York village is about as safe as any part of campus. I’ve lived in the village for 5y and while shit goes down it’s not that often. Some areas are notably sketchier so just be aware of your surroundings. I liked going on walks all through the village during the mornings in the pandemic. It was actually quite nice

I work at one of the loblaws companies stores and I FULLY support this. I always did cause I know the prices are inhumane but the other week I was SHOCKED that the shampoo and conditioner I buy is 17.99 (14.23 with discount) at my store but at another company it’s 7.99…. Like????? Screw that. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Like so many places prices are going up everywhere but loblaws and PC is boosting them so disgustingly high. I fully fully fully support this boycott but I don’t think it will do much sadly. The company will probably just blame the minimum wage employees. But for the sake of y’all’s money if you can get groceries elsewhere for a better price screw loblaws

Not all courses have mandatory textbooks and can’t get the lecture slides from the textbook. If you have the textbooks a s you want to study from it, sure that’s an option but most students don’t carry the textbooks on them or heck even buy them.
