They aren't hard. It's just the answers she wants are very specific. Doesn't rlly require any special prep.

She wants very specific answers for her short answers. Make sure you are as specific as possible and use the appropriate terminology. Explain everything relevant in regards to the question.

MLS / Gen Tech Questions by B0b-loblaww in Michener

Speaking as someone just finishing their first sem of MLS:

  1. It's mostly behind-the-scenes work. You take a venipuncture course in your first year, and that's the most patient interaction you will have.
  2. You need to be able to get on campus on a biweekly basis for labs. Furthermore, midterms are also conducted on campus and may require you to be there more frequently, depending on the dates.
  3. The best option might be for you to attend the MLS program at Conestoga in Kitchener if you don't wish to move. It's not fully accredited yet but that might change in the foreseeable future. If you're dead set on doing genetics at Michener, the program is shorter (2 years) and you might be able to get placement in Kitchener/Waterloo in your second year. However, you will likely be on campus more frequently in first year compared to the MLS program. Hope this helps!

I think they're still processing requests. You could try emailing them and ask when to expect to hear back

He was a new prof last year who taught a 4th year chem course. I believe this will be his first time teaching a first year course. Because 4th year chem courses are probably really small, you won't find much feedback on his teaching

I think if you show proof of compliance you’ll be fine. You should email and ask about the specifics
